ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, JUNE 30TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Meteor Day which is a day to do some star gazing and look out for those falling stars. The average meteoroid is about the size of a pebble. Around 15,000 tons of meteoroids enter the Earth’s atmosphere every day, but very few of them actually reach the surface. When they do reach the Earth they are called meteorites.
To celebrate today look for shooting stars and remember to make a wish on it.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
There wouldn’t be a sky full of stars if we were all meant to wish on the same one.
Frances Clark
I’ve not seen many shooting stars in my life. More than not when I watch he stars and saw one moving, it turned out to be a space station. When we used to camp out in the country we’d watch the stars for hours as we sat around the campfire. The stars are so much brighter in the country than the city.
When we were children we’d watch for the first star at night and make a wish on that.
Today I don’t do much star gazing at all. I don’t like to sit outside at night by my self, so more than not I’m inside when they come out. But this week we’re to be clearer than we’ve been in a while and it’s warm outside so it would be the perfect time to do so.
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Hope is like a star- not to be seen in the sunshine of prosperity and only to be discovered in the night of adversity.
Charles Spurgeon
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
8237. for stars spreading hope
8238 for wishes that do come true
8239 for my health and that of my family
.
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Be glad of life because it gives you the chance to love, to work, to play and to look up at the stars.
Henry Van Dyke
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

The sky is full of wonders take a moment to enjoy them.
I've seen just a handful of shooting stars over my lifetime. Always a spectacular sight to see! Last week we saw the eclipse with the moon; that was a cool thing to see too!

Yep, "I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight." (*smile*)
Certainly, our night skies aren't anywhere as remarkable as in Arizona -- but half the year when I have the dogs out in the early morning there are some pretty ones remaining. There's beauty all around … free for nothing!
Such a sky with stars is a treasure! We have not been under a black sky for many years.
