ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 21ST, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!!
Hallmark
Today is Fathers Day which is our opportunity to celebrate all Fathers. Tell all the fathers in your life how much they men to you today with a thoughtful personalized gift, a delicious meal, or a phone call.
In 1910, the state of Washington declared the first Fathers Day celebration. The idea of honoring men for their domestic role was considered quite controversial for many years. It wasn’t until the Great Depression that the holiday became universally accepted. Struggling businesses began marketing the occasion as a second Christmas for dads and families all over the country adopted the tradition. In 1972 Fathers Day became a national holiday.
Take a moment today to connect with all the wonderful dads in your life: fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, and sons!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Dads are most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers, story tellers and singers of songs.
Pam Brown
I no longer have a Father or grandfather living so today I’m honoring all my sons. Each and everyone of them is a wonderful father to their children.
I had 6 sons and one daughter, but one of them passed away and now is enjoying Fathers Day in heaven and I’m sure he’s watching down on his 3 children with love. I count DSIL as one of my sons and he is among the men shown in the pictures today.
I didn’t get any cards sent out so this newsletter will have to da. I wish you all the happiest of Fathers Day and am sending good wishes and love your way for all you do. You are very loved and appreciated.
In remembrance of DS#1
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!

A father is neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light who’s love shows us the way.

My son's are wonderful fathers !
So blessed! My father's been gone a very long time, but I still miss him … particularly on Father's Day. But as you've pointed out, I've no doubt he and those who've gone on before are smiling down on us from Heaven.
Lovely tribute to your sons and son in law!
