ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR MONDAY, JUNE 29TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
There is something in a simple hug
That always warms the heart
It welcomes us back home
And makes it easier to part

I’ll never take a hug for granted again. After weeks of self distancing, I’ve been without a hug I love to hug and get hugs. I’m a hugger and used give them often. But with trying to be safe and keeping others safe, hugs have been banned. Thankfully , I’m in touch with a few people that have also been self distancing, so there are a few I’ve been able to give and get a hug from safely. Those in my family that are safe. I’m always careful when giving them out. Living by myself and going no where makes me a pretty safe person to be around. I’ll be so glad when this is over and once again hugs can be given out without a worry. Who would have ever thought there would come a day when something so simple as a hug would become something we couldn’t do. I’l never take a hug for granted again.
Here is a virtual hug for all of you today (((HUGS)))
They say we’re going to have a sunny and warm week ahead and I’m going to do what I can to get outside and enjoy it, hopefully I’ll soak up a few rays and get some exercise.
Have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!

Me, too! Ready? … Here goes!
Like you said, I'll never take anything as simple as a hug for granted again. Good to hear you and your family are exploring safe ways in which to share affection. How I wish I were wrong, but fear this social-distancing burden is going to be around longer than we hoped.
Hugs indeed are what makes the world go round. Sending one your way.....
