Stay close to the people that feel like sunshine

June 26 - some people are so much sunshine to the square inch. - Walt Whitman
A flower cannot blossom without sunshine and man cannot live without love.
Max Muller
Its remarkable how we can adapt and grow when we’re soaking up sunshine rather than spending too much time in the shade. Sunlight people are far and few between, but they are out there.
I love being around my grandchildren and watching them play. They have so much energy, I only wish I could have just a tiny bit of it. They always make me feel better and make me smile a lot too.
Sunlight people have a great attitude. The truly appreciate everything they have in life .they choose every opportunity to experience joy. They are consistent and steadfast, yet adaptable to life’s ebbs and flows. Your time with them feels intentional and leaves your cup full. You do’t worry about the state of your house when they drop by for a visit. They love you and will never judge.
Sound like a good friend to me. They are supportive in the good times and in the bad times.
Just living is not enough…One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.
Hans Christian Anderson

Sunshine on my shoulder always makes me happy!
Indeed! Reading your description of 'sunlight people', right away a couple of women came to mind; it just feels so good to be in their company.
I know what you mean about children's energy! We don't have any littles, but Tom came in from his 'bench sitting' earlier today just grinning ear-to-ear: 5 young squirrels were carrying on and chasing one another around the yard. We agreed, oh to have half their energy and zest for life. There are lessons to be learned, all around us.
So true with young children and their energy! They have an abundance of it . I like your description of sunlight people. I'm thinking you are one of them Ma!
