ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH,2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is American Made Matters Day which is a day to celebrate the value of American made products. Buying American made products creates more jobs, stronger communities, independence and security for our country, an improved national economy, safer products and a more environmentally friendly planet. This day was created as a call to action to use our individual purchasing power on November 19th and during the holiday shopping season to make a difference in our future.
If Americans dedicated just a small portion of their holiday shopping budget to buying American made goods, it could have a positive impact on our economy.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
If you take advantage of everything American has to offer, there’s nothing you can’t accomplish.
Geradine Ferraro
There is no doubt that I’ll be celebrating today. I try to support our country in any way I can. I will buy American made when I can find it, but it is getting harder all the time. So many business have moved to other countries. We see tags that say Made in China, more than we see Made in the USA. But I’m going to make it a priority when I shop today to look for the tags that say Made in America.
We can all do our bit to help our country and this is one small way that can make a big difference. The more we buy, the more jobs that will be created.
DD and I usually do some Christmas shopping together and that is what the pictures are of today. Some of our shopping trips. I don’t have any Made in the USA signs, but will be looking for them.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Patriotism is easy to understand in America, it means looking out for yourself by looking out for your country.

Made in American Matters...
Love all the pictures with you and your daughter! I bet you guys have fun shopping together! Hubby was putting a band-aid on a cut the other day and read on the side of the box that it was made in Brazil. We try to buy made in the USA too but like you said, getting harder and harder to do with each passing year it seems. We also try to go to local businesses owned by people rather than chains if we are going out to eat.

What FUN photos, Ma. Your girl is so beautiful; and I love your hair in the last shot.
AMEN to Made In America! Aside from Wal-Mart, I don't patronize many retailers anymore. I do, however, love to browse and buy from the Etsy.com shops. Just last month I found some one-of-a-kind tea towels to gift my SIL for their new home.
