ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH,2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Chaos Never Dies Day which recognizes the fact that turmoil, craziness, hectic and disorder are a part of our modern everyday lives. To realized that chaos is a part of life and that it will never die. Chaos is defined as a state of confusion or disorder or in other words, as a lock of order. So if you feel like you are overwhelmed by hetic and stress of your every day life, today might be the right day to accept the circumstances and try to deal with it. Make this day your chance to take it a bit slower let and chaos be chaos… Instead of being hassled by it, just take a deep breath and let go of things that create chaos in your life.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
We adore chaos because we love to produce order.
M.C.Escher
When things get very hectic here the best thing I know of is take a deep breath and count to ten, before moving on. It’s the little break that will make a big difference. A deep breath will clear the air so to speak.
Just about the time we think everything is running smothly and we’ve got everything running right, somthing new usually happens. Don’t let it get you down, take a deep breath and keep on going. Take a deep breath and let it go. Remember while we can’t control our circumstances and what happens in life, we can control our attitude.
Today I’m going to a birthday party for DS#5’s girls. Our sweet sugar AB and our Cuttie Patootie both have November birthdays. They are not on the same day but they celebrate them together. Today’s pictures are of their party last year.
This year we are celebrating by going to a place that is like a jump zone. It features high energy equipment like trampolines, a foam pit, a rock climbing wall and much more. Then we’re returning afterward to their home for a light supper and cake. It’s going to be a long day for me, but should be lots of fun, especially for the girls, but it is their birthday after all and this is what they wanted to do. I’m taking some munchies like vegetables and dip and fruits to go with what they’ll have on hand to eat. Nice and easy and no cooking required. Just cutting up and putting in a dish to serve.
They love Ranch veggie dip so I’ve found a recipe to make your own.
Easy Ranch Vegetable Dip
8 oz. sour cream
1/3 c. mayonaise
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp. dried dill
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
salt and pepper to taste.
In a small bowl, stir the sour cream and mayo together until smooth and well blended.
Add the herbs and apices stirring until fully incorporated. Add a dash of salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill in the refrigerator till ready to serve with your favorite vegetables.
Hopefully I’ll have pictures to share tomorrow of today’s party. It should be quite the celebration.
I hope you all have a SUPER Saturday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos in to order. Confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home and a stranger into a friend.
Melody Beattie
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
God Bless You All !
ADVICE FOR TODAY

I'm blessed to have yet another reason to party and eat cake!
Chaos, there is plenty to go around:) Love that last picture.
Sounds like it will be a fun party! I'm sure the kids will be worn out after an activity like that! Good advice you gave about taking a deep breath when in the midst of chaos.
Have fun today!

When my granddaughters were small, my normally level-headed son adopted the phrase, "Embrace the chaos." I think those high-energy entertainment venues are a perfect venue for birthday girls (and boys). Just think how wonderfully they'll sleep tonight! :)
