ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST,2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is All Saints Day which is a day filled with hope. it balances out the fears associated with Halloween. We are reminded that there is an after life and that the next world is one of eternal light and love. All Saints day reminds us how many people , who have gone before us in faith, were shinning examples of light and love.
These people did their best, they lived their lives to the full and they spread light and love daily. They knew you can’t preserve it and you must use it and spread it. All Saints day is a wonderful celebration of everything about them and it’s day of promise and hope for us too.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
We shall never know all the good the a simple smile an do.
Mother Teresa
They say that we are all Saints in the making.. It’s how we live our lives that makes the difference. There are lots of stories of the saints that have gone before us that encourage and inspire us. My maternal grandmother was my hero, she inspired me to do more than anyone else. She was a good example to me and others in what she did. If she isn’t in heaven, I’d be very surprised.
Always remember Actions speak louder than words. The pictures today are of last night’s All Hallows Eve. Our Hallow WIND festivities. Our rain stopped and the winds picked up and it turned very cold. The temps were at 45 but with the wind it felt like 31 degrees. BrrrChill!
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Where a man’s heart is, there is his treasure also.
St. Ambrose
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7558. for saints and heroes that inspire us
7559. for thoughts of heaven to encouage us
7560. for life everlasting
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
For it is in giving that we receive.
Francis of Assisi

Some said they actually saw snow flakes...Oh No! It's way too soon! What a trick for Halloween!
Nov. sure has a lot of things to celebrate. Cute pictures, they all seem to be having fun.
Looked like last night was fun except for the wind. We only had about 30 trick or treaters. A very low turn out compared to other years. Had 2 unopened gs of candy and didn't even finish the first one we had opened. So true all of us can be saints. We just have to live our lives to the glory of God!
