ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is National Chocolate Day which is a great reason to eat more chocolate and celebrate your sweet tooth. On the average Americans consume 12 pounds, per person, per year.
Try to enjoy some chocolate with each meal today. Have hot chocolate or chocolate donuts for breakfast. For lunch, pair your favorite dish with a tall class of chocolate milk and have a chocolate dessert for dinner.
Happy National Chocolate Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Coffee make it possible to get out of bed. Chocolate makes it worthwhile.

There are a lot of chocolate related holidays and I’m willing and ready to celebrate all and any of them. They say a little chocolate every day is good for you !
Since it is Sunday, I think I’ll be having a sundae to celebrate. One of my favorite desserts is ice cream with some chocolate syrup and sprinkled with peanuts. Quick and easy and delicious. And because Halloween is right around the corner I have some M&M’s and Reece's Peanut Butter cups on hand too.
Sunday’s are always my day to relax, refresh and renew for another new week ahead. So I’ll be off to church as usual this morning and then home again. I put a small roast in the crockpot this morning, so dinner will be ready and waiting.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.
Charles Schultz
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6469. for chocolate, good and good for you
6470. for my crockpot
6471. for a day to rest and relax
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Put ‘eat chocolate’ at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you’ll get one thing done.

Give yourself a treat today! Rest and relax!
I purposefully didn't buy any chocolate candy for Halloween (yet). I've been buying a few bags at a time and will get the final 2 bags this Tuesday. Then I'll buy some with my favorites and enjoy a treat or two on Halloween :) Those chocolate donuts looked delicious!
Enjoy your sundae on Sunday, Ma!

Oooooh yum! I purposely didn't buy Reese's this year, on account I can't trust myself! Your sundae reminds me of my school days' 'go-to' snack. Every weekday afternoon I'd drizzle Hershey's chocolate syrup over vanilla ice milk and stir it all about like crazy. (No, 'real' ice cream was too dear.)
Love, LOVE the idea of a chocolate day! Mind you I have moments when chocolate day is every day, which how I got to look the way I do! Chocolate glazed donuts with cream filling are my favourites, and who doesn't love a Reeses! Love all that you share Pam. xoxo PS - Love Dairy Queen's Peanut Buster Parfait! For peanuts, chocolate and ice cream, its the best!
