ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is National Creativity Day which a day to embrace your own creativity and support the creative people in you life. Do what you can to acknowledge, motivate, and inspire people to pursue their dreams.
Whether you are an artist, writer, musician, blogger, photographer, or a graphic artist, it’s a day to celebrate your creative pursuits. Other than nature, everything within sight originated with a creative thought from someone.
Being creative helps you become a better problem solver. Creativity helps you see things differently and better deal with uncertainty. Creativity is a great confidence builder, because we discover that failure is part of the process.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort.
Frankin D. Roosevelt
We are all creative in one way or another. Even providing a good wholesome meal for our families takes creativity. When you are living on a fixed income like I do it also takes a bit of creativity to make the best use of your money.
That is what I did on Memorial Day. DD suggested we go to the outlet mall and see what they had on sale. Their sales never fail to disappoint me. And it was a good day for a train ride. Not me, but DD’s son thoroughly enjoyed it. They have a train there that runs the distance of the Mall and he was excited to take a ride. I sat in the shade and took pictures as the train went by. It’s always good to spend time with my daughter and grandson so even though it was not a typical Memorial Day celebration, we had a lot of fun.
We’d already had our family get together on Saturday and DSIL had to work but with a little creative thinking we were able to spend the day together and save some money with the sales going on too.
We continue to be hot and humid here, but we’re to see some rain later today. I’m going to have to be creative in order to get back to the every day tasks that need to be done today. I enjoyed the outdoors yesterday working outside, but today it’s time to do some housework.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

6025. for great sales that save money
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Unlike several of my kin (artists/authors) I've never considered myself particularly creative. I've always been a color-inside-the-lines sort. Now, I like your explanation that encompasses so many pursuits!
I hope if your rain has to come it doesn't linger!
How fun to spend Memorial Day with your daughter and grandson! I bet he did enjoy the train ride! Indeed we can be creative with all aspects of our lives; we just have to look at ways to do so with what we have to work with :)
betty
You made memories and that’s important!
My Memorial Day was QUIET! The first time ever with no company at all. I don't know if I liked it. I visited the cemeteries on Thursday so I could avoid the crowds. Hopefully I will get a routine again on blog visiting!
