ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The real measure of your wealth is how much you’d be worth if you lost all your money.
Author Unknown
I may not be a millionaire, but do feel that I’m the richest woman in the world. I’m rich in the things that money cannot buy. Money cannot buy happiness. Money cannot buy health, a home, respect, friendship, love, purpose, loyalty, gratitude, a close knit family, time, or confidence and empathy. There is so much more in my life besides money.
Thankfully I have just enough money for what I need, but the most important things in my life - my faith, family and friends were not purchased. No price could be set on these things. They are priceless and money couldn’t buy them.
It’s hard to believe it is Sunday already, but after a very busy week I’m going to take advantage of it and rest and refresh for another busy week ahead.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The best way for a person to have happy thoughts is to count his blessings and not his cash.

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5993. for all I have that money cannot buy

5995. for another busy week ahead, more to celebrate
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
The safe way to double your money is to fold it over once and put it in your pocket.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

What really matters at the end of one's life is the things that money can't buy, like you mentioned, faith, close knit family, etc. That is a well lived life if someone has those because we all know we can't take anything with us when we leave this earth.

Amen! I'm sure there are many millionaires who struggle with feelings of loneliness; who may be spiritually bankrupt.
I, too, feel rich in those things that matter. Reminds me of a fun song from Porgy and Bess, "I got plenty of nothing, and nothing's plenty for me!"
That last quote was great!
It is raining down in Texas! We needed it.
I agree with you, I’m rich in all the things money cannot buy! And grateful to be so blessed!
