ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Tourism Day which is a great day to be a tourist. On this day municipalities and tourism sights around the country promote their area or region. They let people know about activities and events in their area.
As a tourist, use today in search of new, exciting and interesting places to go.
It’s a great day to book your travel plans.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
No road is long with good company.

I would venture to say that almost ever city has a tourism site. Ohio has several and even our own county has a site that lets you know what is going on locally. There are also many visitor centers that have pamphlets, magazines, and maps that show you many things to do and see. With the nice weather coming, tourism will increase as vacation time begins.
While I don’t have any special travel plans coming, I’ve have been a tourist of sorts in the past. For the most part family members have been my tour guides and show me all the sights to see while visiting them.
Today’s pictures are of the park and visitors center we visited last Friday. We walked through the conservatory there and were even entertained by a friendly parrot. We ate at the onsite cafe and lunch was delicious. I had a chicken wrap and a bowl of delicious rice and bean soup. They are very family friendly and were featuring super heroes. You’ll see some of them in the pictures.
This past weekend I traveled a lot on the Ohio Turnpike and they have some very nice rest stops along the way. They also have lots of information there on what to see and do and I picked up a few for future reference. We went west on Saturday and east on Sunday. One thing is for certain. Spring has sprung in northern Ohio and it was wonderful to see everything blooming and turning green. Hopefully, I’ll be sharing some pictures of the weekend later on this week.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!

5954. for great visits with family
5955. for our beautiful Ohio
5956. for plenty to see and do close by
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOUALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY

Some very nice pictures. My husband loved to take road trips and we visited many, many roadside parks! Happy Monday!
Enjoyed all your pictures! Your outing on Friday sounded really nice with delicious food! Glad on your "road" trip you were able to enjoy spring in your area!

I love being a tourist! So much to see and do and often right under our noses in our very own city, state , country!
So glad to learn you were a passenger this weekend ... getting to enjoy the scenery without stressing over traffic! Tom doesn't know it yet (lol), but I'm compiling quite a to-do list of day trips.
... 'Even hoping for an opportunity to meet Rick and Jilda and hear them perform.
Lovely photos! They remind me of Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA, not far from where I live.
