If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
We plant seeds that will flower as results in our lives, so best to remove the weeds of anger, avarice, envy and doubt, that peace and abundance may manifest for all.
Dorothy Day
Peace begins with each of us right in our own homes, in our own hearts, and when we live peacefully with each other love blossoms and grows.
We all get little thoughts in our heads. All kinds of thoughts, good and bad. All these thoughts are like seeds. Our minds are very much like a garden. Just as seeds grow, so do our thoughts. If we do not properly water and care for our garden, newly sprouting seeds will die. The positive thoughts we planted will start to wilt when not tended to, and the thoughts that we do not want are left to grow wildly, just like weeds. The plants and flowers that make the garden of our mind beautiful are the positive thoughts we nurture and help to grow
Peace begins with you and me.
May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace.
I hope you all have a fantastic Friday !
Planting Time
Plant three rows of Peas:
Peace of mind.
Peace of heart.
Peace of soul.
Plant four rows of Squash:
Squash gossip.
Squash indifference.
Squash grumbling.
Squash selfishness.
No garden should be without Turnips:
Turnip for service when needed.
Turnip to help one another.
Turnip the music and dance.
Plant four rows of Lettuce:
Lettuce be faithful.
Lettuce be kind.
Lettuce be happy.
Lettuce really love one another.
To conclude our garden we must have Thyme:
Thyme for fun.
Thyme for rest.
Thyme for others.
Thyme for ourselves.
Water freely with patience and cultivate with love.
We reap what we sow -- you 'should' have a bountiful garden.

COUNTING MY GIFTS
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

2805. for all peacekeepers, they are a gift to all of us
2806. for peace, it begins with me
2807. for gardens that bloom and grow
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Your life is your garden,
Your thoughts are the seeds.
If your life isn't awesome,
You've been watering the weeds.

I think it is neat that they do have the United Nations Peacekeepers; it is good that people are trying to work on peace. It does start with each of us and hopefully if we live peaceful lives others will want to model our lives and they too will want to live peaceful lives.

I like your advice for today Pam! My ex husband worked as a Peace Keeper with the Canadian Military for many years. These dedicated men and their families sacrifice much in the process. Peace does begin with us. HOpefully it will spread. Love and hugs and many thanks for all the lovely things you share. xoxo
