Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is the day to turn that frown upside down and take one day to not be grumpy because today is the Great American Grump Out. The Grump Out asked sour pusses to suck it up and refrain from getting their grump on -- at least for 24 hours. That includes no grumping, no frowning, no grousing, complaining, punching, slapping, or hitting for one whole day !

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Some people grin and bear it; others smile and do it.

I do think we all need to laugh more and to enjoy the ride that is life, so if for one day, we could be happy instead of grumpy, that would probably be a very good thing.
Everyone has difficult days where nothing seems to go right. There is no instruction manual for life and when reality hits, it doesn't always come with open arms to catch our fall. No matter what happens, you have to be able to pick yourself up and keep on moving on. Here are some ways to turn your frown upside down.
In order to get out of your rut, you must be around positive people that will bring out the best in you. A little bit of positivity can go a long way and change your mood tremendously.
Remember that this too shall pass. Times of sadness will not last forever. Nothing stays the same. Nothing lasts forever. Changes will always come.
When you're having a rough day and need some positive reinforcement try counting your blessings, it always works for me.
Have hope that you will get through this tough time. Allow yourself yourself some time for prayer. No matter what, He will not judge you. Praying and having faith will provide you with the strength to overcome anything.
Live one day at a time. For just one day most anything is possible.
Smile ! A smile can brighten someone’s day, it’s a way to greet each other and it makes us feel good too!
I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and can start and end the day with a SMILE!
DDIL#1 wrote asking for prayers. She said that her mother’s husband’s granddaughter was shot while hunting and she believes that the services will be on Thursday and Friday of this week. My heart and prayers goes out to the entire family in every way. Please join me in praying for all the family at this very sorrowful time.
Dear Lord bless this family right now and in the days ahead. Please comfort and give them strength at them as they say goodbye to their loved one. Eternal rest grant unto this darling grandchild, O Lord, and may Your light shine upon her forever.
Your prayers for the family at this time would be very much appreciated. Thank you always for praying with me.
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.

I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for over a year and have now reached 1600 gifts. On my way to 2000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1646. for smiles which delight and warm me through and through
1647. for faith that sees us through the tough times
1648. for positive reinforcement from others.
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

I so love visiting here, Ma. No matter what day, what season, whether things are going well for you, or a bit rough, you're always so positive; always have such great food for thought. I really like the graphics on today's post.
Gotta go. Love you much. Have an awesome day.
Oh that was such a terrible tragedy with the grand-daughter. Definitely prayer said. I just can't imagine the grief of it all!
I like the advice on how to get through tough times; all great wisdom there!
