14 DAYS UNTIL SPRING!
Sunrise:6:53 am
Sunset: 6:23 pm
Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
The first full week of March is Celebrate Your Name Week. And today is AKA Thursday
Not everybody sticks with their birth name. Some choose aliases for themselves and others earn nicknames that become permanent. A few people even use an AKA, also known as, more than the name on their birth certificate.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.
Charles H. Spurgeon
I’m mostly known as ‘ma’. I’ve been called by that name for many many years now and hear it more than my real name for sure. I am also known as grand’ma’. My aka name is one that I’m proud to be called and really couldn’t think of a better one indeed!
Today’s pictures were taken at our Little Lucky Guys birthday party last Saturday. I do have nick names for all of my grandchildren. They are all pretty special in my life. The picture directly above is of me holding our Cutie Patootie! She’s sound asleep and content in Grand’ma’s arms.
It’s almost Friday, aka Thursday! Have a great day!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Your name is whispered in someone's prayers.
Author Unknown
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1460. for endearing nicknames
1461. for fond memories of happy times
1462. for big box of baby wipes, they do have a multitude of uses
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!
Mark Twain
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

I've had a lot of knicknames over the years. The best one is always "Mom." It is a gift I have been truly grateful for!
Oh, how I needed thre reminder spring is so near after last weekend. Your grands are cuties!
Cute pictures from the party, Ma! I like how you have nicknames for all your grands! And such cute ones that you do! No nicknames here that I have, other than "Mom" but Koda sure has a few "Little guy" "Poopy" to name just a couple :)
betty
Pretty picture's of you and the grandchildren. We have more great grandchildren here, then we have grandchildren, but love them all. I do wish we lived near them all, most live for away and we don't get to see them that much. You're so lucky. Take care. Jean
Awwwww... I enjoyed the pictures from the party... :)
