ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FEBRUARY 25TH, 2010
Now we have a Winter Storm Watch again!
The word blizzard was even in the forecast for tonight into Friday morning. Friday may just be a SNOW day for me. I’ll make it to work fine this morning they say, but we just don’t know about Friday morning at all. We’ll see…
Take good care all!
These weeks of Lent are opportunities to feel those quiet whispers of God.
Today: Read a passage from Scripture and then sit, without saying or doing anything, for 10 minutes
NEW IN THE KITCHEN

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1-1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup whole milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Spray inside of slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. In small skillet, cook onion and green pepper in olive oil until crisp tender. Let cool about 10 minutes. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk and seasonings until well mixed. Pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker, cover and turn on low. Cook for 8-10 hours, until casserole is set and eggs are thoroughly cooked. Serves 12
Give me a little nudge, Lord, to listen and heed Your word
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
Just sharing a little humor with you all today, nothing new here at home
What flowers grow between your nose and your chin? .... Tulips.
What did the t.v. say to the other t.v.? ... I think somebody is watching us.
What has four eyes and runs south? ... The Mississippi river.
DD called to say that her hubby’s uncle passed away so they are planning to go to the funeral this weekend. I would suppose that all depends on whether or not they can get out of Ohio on Friday.
I’ll be praying for the family and for safe travels for all of them
COUNTING THE DAYS
After all is said and done, a lot more will have been said than done
23 DAYS UNTIL SPRING !
50 DAYS UNTIL CAMPING SEASON BEGINS
35 DAYS UNTIL MA RETIRES
Keep looking ON THE BRIGHT SIDE of things.
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone near…
