Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and spend a few minutes learning about your human rights as a world citizen, and educate others of their importance.
I don't have much, but I sure am thankful to have a roof over my head, running water, and food on the table. Stay warm, ma!
Great topic! I so love that wooden sign ... not unlike the 10 Commandments, right? My grandson-in-law works with a fellow who has 5 children. During the government shut-down there were times Robert told us, his friend and wife had to split one pork chop between them so their children could eat. Not longer after hearing that, Robert began a little food drive for the family. Every little thing matters!
We all should be treated with respect and dignity - human rights - but it does not always happen. How nice it is to be able to help others.
So proud that Jimmy Carter was from my state of Georgia!
