Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and get a beautiful poinsettia plant to enjoy!
National Poinsettia Day - I do think they are so pretty - especially the red ones.
I did not know the history so thank you!
How my mother (and mother-in-law) loved Poinsettias! The latter actually had them growing successfully outside her Florida sunroom. I don't know if they still do it, but years ago Disney World had a huge Christmas tree made totally out of potted Poinsettias.
I looked at poinsettias yesterday, but I was running around and it was too tough to bring one home with me. I know there's a holiday plant coming home with me one day soon.
I think I remember seeing poinsettias along your carport back in Ohio. :)
