Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and read your favorite comic.
Oh, I love "the funnies" in the newspapers! That is what we always called the comics! And comic books! I loved them, my cousin used to hide hers when I visited her, otherwise, I would be reading them all and not play with her, LOL! (I love the Archie Comics! I always wanted to look like Betty and Veronica!
Mother and I would share the comics each Sunday on the 45-minute drive to church. Good times!
My former husband used to save the Sunday funnies and wrap presents in them. I thought that was pretty clever.
I thought I heard it was National Daughter Day - lol. National Comic Book Day is good too because I used to go for them first when we had Newpapers delivered.
I am sure comics are a BIG part of our lives, especially growing up. What an interesting post, take care out that way........ Love from Pennsylvania TAke care...
