Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and enjoy a nice tall glass of Chocolate Milk!
What a great post. I do appreciate the history , and I do like chocolate milk but seldom have it nowadays. BUT what you said: He isn't spoiled much but he is such a good kid they mostly do what he likes (or something like that). That statement hit me as being so true. I have seen spoiled rotten kids (not really that bad but OBVIOUS) and I have seen good kids like you described and goodness works wonders for them and they are good, NOT TO GET, but just good kids, that their good behavior is REWARDED. That is a fact.
Love you cow girl, find a chocolate cow over there and milk it!! ;-)
I enjoyed that - I love chocolate milk - now I can drink it and feel it is doing me some good. lol.
It's been years since I indulged in some icy, creamy chocolate milk, but now I want to buy myself a pint ... and not even share.
Speaking from the standpoint of a much-loved 'only' child, I really hope you all were able to enjoy a day at the fair!
