Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and read aloud to your family.
This brought up a problem with age and hearing. I stumble and stutter too much to read aloud, BUT yes I believe it is important.
Love you cowgirl, Love the opening picture, made me smile.... Good on you!
Aren't we lucky to be able to read and write? I never read out loud anymore, but I used to tutor children and would listen to them read out loud. Hope they are still reading today!
I've no-one to read aloud to, but enjoy being read to every now and then via audio books. Like the printed word, each voice seems to bring something different to the table.
