Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and share a bowl of soup with family or friends. It will warm you up on a cold day!
We love homemade soup in the colder months, but sometimes I get carried away and make so much (that) Tom gets weary of eating the same thing. Your mention of Russian Borscht has tweaked my curiousity however. If its the same thing, I remember a dear friend used to enjoy it cold with a dollop of sour cream.
I love homemade soup and make it a lot. I love fresh veggies and beans. A thin broth not a creamy one. I think it is so healthy for you.
Feb. 10 - well my hubs had a cath and a stint and he is doing much better - so I hope they find out what it is and that they fix it!
