Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Polish up your antiquities today and share their history!
I didn't even step outside to see yesterday's eclipse, but watched from the living room's picture window as the shadows grew long. Thankfully, we were able to watch excellent coverage on the national news, broadcasting from the Indianapolis speedway. Loved seeing the children's reactions!
Not until maybe 10 years ago did I give a hoot for antiques; now I'm the opposite. I wouldn't be able to identify even one of my parents/grandparents belongings as my favorite ... I cherish them all!
I watched from a window - not much happened - it got a titch bit darker - but nothing exciting here in Atlanta.
Have to be honest with you here - not much of an antique person.
