Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

God be with our troops for sure.
Many people have thought I looked like Kathy Bates.
Have a good day.
Fun topic! When I was a girl someone said I reminded them of Haley Mills. Of course I didn't, but that kind remark had me walking on air for days.
Maybe 30 years ago someone approached me at a restaurant and asked, "Has anyone told you, you look just like Jamie Leigh Curtis?" (I think it was the hair cut and --at that time-- my figure, haha.)
Unless someone's an identical twin, I think it's best we each accept and embrace our own selves.
AHHH WHAT A GREAT POST. Sherry is very good at associating looks. Me not so much. BUT, but two times in my life i saw people who looked just like someone else. Once in the Yooper of Michigan I saw a man who looked exactly like my BIL who had passed. And once in Florida I saw a man who looked just like a friend who lives in the North EAst.
Thanks for taking me on a journey. Stay safe and hope all is well out there in the great state of Texas.
