Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and read a good book!
I love books to Ma. They are a gift. I like to actually hold my books to read too!
I'm so glad my parents instilled in me a love of reading at an early age. While social media has lessened the time I used to spend reading, I'm trying hard to make it a habit. Like exercise. I heard someone on television say, "Even 15 minutes a day makes a difference."
Most of my reading material these days comes from Kindle and Prime. Sometimes I look at all the hard-bound books I have left and wonder, "Will anyone want them?" Still, I like the looks of them all lined-up -- like invitations.
I was on a mission to get custody of the best Grandson in the world at the time. It was for my son of course (but mostly me). While on that mission to pass the time. i picked up a book in a department store. It was a giant book, 'Executive Orders' by tom Clancy. I thought this will take me two months to finish. I had only read mostly materials related to work, etc in my adult years. I read that sucker in a week and I was hooked. I have read thousands since them and learned what I had missed the first 57 years of my life. LOL
Sorry to be son long, Thanks for letting is visit.
