Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and decorate some eggs!
Most folk now a days use the plastic egg. Like you we enjoyed decorating our eggs. None were as spectacular as the beautiful ones you show, but to m my sister could make some great ones with that wax crayon or pencil. I loved eating the Easter Eggs and for a few day enjoyed the egg salad sandwiches with the ones left.
Take care, we know you are on the edge of your seat about now. LOL hold on and be careful, Love from down here...
It's been many years since I decorated eggs, but yes. I remember doing the same as you; in fact, I can still smell that particular vinegar-y aroma. These days I use Egglettes to hard-boil my eggs. Tom makes the best egg salad.
I hope you all have a splendid family Easter celebration. (And rain, rain, go away!)
I remember doing or coloring Easter Eggs all the time when the kids were little - then grands - but haven't done them in a while.
Happy Easter.
