Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today, recycle and buy recycled products.
Isn't recycling a wonderful initiative?! Gosh, the majority of my wardrobe (excepting undergarments) has come from thrift stores and estate sales, alike. Even before she passed, I remember my mother remarking how clothes today aren't often made with the same quality and attention to detail. I don't care about dressing expensively, but enjoy finding well cared-for garments that I might not be able to afford retail.
I enjoyed hearing your own examples!
Yes, I am smiling you sound a lot like us. We have been recycling for many years, long before I ever heard the word 'recycle'. My mama was a specialist and reviving clothes....
On the road again...
Sherry & jack Hoping all is well up that way.....
I love to recycle too. Clothes and garbage. We are having a problem finding a place to accept orange bags - the kind of bags that hold Styrofoam products that last 100 years. They need to make it easier for us and I think we would do better!
