Hallmark!
Today is Shopping Reminder Day which reminds you that it’s less than a month until Christmas. Don’t forget to buy all your gifts.
Shopping is an activity in which a customer browses the available goods and services presented by one or more retailers with the intent to purchase a suitable selection of them. In some contexts it may be considered a leisure activity as well as an economic one.
The shopping experience can range from delightful to terrible based on how the customer is treated, in the US state of New York, women purchase 80 percent of all consumer goods and influence 80 percent of health care decisions.
To celebrate today, make a list of all your shopping needs and go shopping for them. If you have a list, it makes shopping easier.
If you cannot see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping.

I’ll be making a list of the gifts I need to get today, but I’m going shopping on line tomorrow when it will be Cyber Monday.
I’d rather be shopping at a store, but the best deals will be online.
I’m hoping that all my children will do the shopping for the grandchildren this year, I will then pay them back, when they let me know how much they spent. I don’t know what they already have and what they want. This will save me lots of time. There are so many of them, 21, that I need to get something for.
If any of my children are reading this, I’d appreciate it if you spent around $20.00 per child. Just let me know, how much I owe you.
I always get each family a gift that all can enjoy. But I’d like to do a little something extra for each grand child. Other years I’ve painted something to give as gifts, but this year, I never got started painting anything, and now it’s too late. I did get started on my shopping, on the trip to the Candle factory on Friday, I got them all an Advent calendar that I gave to them yesterday when we had our family get together. The ones that weren’t there will receive theirs when I send out their presents in the mail later on.
Today, is the first Sunday of Advent, and we’ll be lighting the first purple candle on the Advent wreath. I’ve but my wreath on the table and will light my first candle before dinner this evening. That is what my pictures are of today. I’ve got some leftovers for dinner tonight so will not have to cook.
If the weather permits, DS#5 and his son are supposed to come over and rake my leaves. They will also help me by getting my Christmas decorations out of the storage shed. Then they will help me take down the fall decorations and store them away again. I won’t be able to take any of them with me, so some will be given away, but others will be kept by DS#5. Hopefully he will be able to use some of them. If anyone else wants any, he will have them, just let DS#5 know.
Opps, I almost forget to tell you I got my first Christmas gift yesterday, it came from DDIL#1. She got a DNA kit from Ancestry and is sending it in so I can see how much I really knew about who my ancestors were. I think I know, but there may be some surprises. We’ll see… when I get the results. I’ll make sure to let you all know.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sun
day!

I'm not perfect and I do make mistakes. All I can do is check my information. Thanks all of you!
I can't recall ever being fond of in-person shopping -- even back in the 60's, my favorites were the Sears Roebuck catalog and Miles Kimball. Of course, where I got the 'pin money', I've no idea (lol).
Advent calendars are a super gift idea! ,]... as is that Ancestry gift from DDIL#1. How thoughtful!
I've just about finished my shopping for this Christmas! I ran into some real bargains on brand new lululemon things! A store must have gone out of business and donated a ton of their stock to the thrift store!
Hope you got your leaves raked and your Christmas out.
