Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

There’s no denying candy is comfort food and its affordable. Enjoy your favorite kind of candy today !
Oh my goodness - I thought I was bad with the sandwiches - but I am even worse with candy. I could let hard candy go - but chocolate - dark Chocolate - I love it.
Gotta love National Candy Day ... coming right on the heels of Halloween! Gosh, I've not heard of/thought about marzipan in years and years. I remember seeing it for the first time at Disneyland, made to look like tiny pieces of fruit in a fancy tin; it was the only 'sweet' my mother loved. Nowadays the only candy I enjoy are Reese's Peanut Butter cups and Werthers hard caramel.
Good post. I smiled at the religious ceremonies that included Chocolate. I think that is about true today. LOL
I joke about chocolate, but I do love milk chocolate. It is just that I have flavors that jump out at me. LOL
This was an enjoyable read. I smiled also at Tootsie being named after the originator's daughter.
The best your way
Sherry & jack down here.
