Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I'm thankful for having a daughter to go shopping with!
I used to be hunting on around Thanksgiving. Sherry & her sisters loved to shop together, they didn't buy that much but they loved to SHOP.
Loved your picture today!!
We most likely will not shop Black Friday but will be thinking of the ones that do.
Sherry & jack with a clear cool day down this way...
Now I'm wondering when the 'crazy' Black Friday shoppers rush began. Remembering those days when my son was young. My mother would have taken the bus to visit and Friday was always set aside for leisurely shopping and a nice lunch at her favorite German deli. Sure, there were crowds, but no absurd lines and ill-behaved people. It sounds like your day is shaping up to be the same. Enjoy!
I remember now - the reason it is called black Friday - I had forgotten and glad to know there will be more sales on the Saturday before Christmas!! Have fun shopping.
