The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades.  May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks,  and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Sons Day, which recognizes sons of all ages and celebrates the joy they bring to their parents lives.  Also celebrated on March 4th, today is the perfect day to reflect on the accomplishments of our sons.

Let the day remind us to impart the qualities of respect and commitment to our sons as they grow.  It’s an opportunity to celebrate  your sons at any age..  Share a meal, enjoy the outdoors together or reminisce with some home videos.  You can even send a card to express your love and appreciation.  

Celebrate today and  remember to let them know how much they mean to you.

I’ve told you before that I was blessed with 6 sons and 1 daughter.  They are are all loved and appreciated.  My sons have all grown into wonderful men.  They are all fathers too and have families of their own, but they still take good care of me.  I only have one son that lives close by but I also have a SIL that is just like a son to me that lives close by too.  They help me all the time.  The pictures of my sons are what I’m sharing today.  Just like my daughter, I love and appreciate every one of them.

11,680.for being a mom, there is nothing better in my opinion. Thank you all for making me a mom.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS

Please pray for God's protection of

our troops and HIS wisdom for their

commanders.

 

Almighty and eternal God,

Protect our military

as they discharge their duties

with the shield of your
strength,

may the power of your love

enable them to return home in safety

that with all who love them

they may ever praise you for your loving care.

AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT’s.
