Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

This DIL is not the only working mom in the family, All my DIL's and my daughter work while raising children, except for DDIL#3.
We do know about long distance BDs. Hope DIL has a great one they know you would love to be there to help them celebrate.
Sherry worked until the kids were born, then back to work when we has someone to watch them. But you brought up a BIG question in my mind, how can a family exist today without both parents bringing in income. The one working must have a significant income. WOW. BUT looking back at our lives we made it somehow on what ever we had coming in, I was taught to put some back for a rainy day and NEVER spend more than you make.
Anyway I truly admire families that work and still have time to LOVE each other....
Sherry & jack still in NC
Happy Birthday to your pretty DIL #4! How wonderful that she loves the interaction at her workplace.
Like many, I was not afforded the opportunity to stay at home while Troy was little. We folks do what we have to do, right?
That's a great suggestion about children making pictures and/or housework 'coupons' to gift their parents!
Happy :) Birthday!!
