Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Hope you have a free day from labor. Enjoy and relax!
Since my retirement, most of the time all I do is relax!
Looking back, Labor Day in the 1950's-60's was the last day of summer break before returning to school. Later, my husband and I would jump in the car and see how far we could travel for fun -- before having to rewind. (At this stage of my life, that sounds dreadful. lol)
Happy Labor Day!
I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend.
If the USA has proven one thing is that when the rubber meets the road we know how to work and get things done. Our challenge thrown at us by WWII proved THE USA CAN PRODUCE if pushed to it, I think we have the WILL to do it again.
Thanks for a good tribute and some history, good stuff.
Hope you had a great day
