Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

The secrete ingredient in any good recipe is love !
Happy Bastille Day! This makes me want to ask Alexa to play the sound track from Les Miz. I don't think there are any French restaurants around here, either. I'd love to enjoy escargot one more time, but not sure if that's allowed with my thyroid.
Crepes are so good, and as I recall, easy to prepare! Years ago I signed up for Saturday morning cooking classes at a high-end restaurant, but my only take-away was their crepes recipe with marscapone cheese. I even bought a special crepe skillet; unnecessary maybe, but it made cooking fun. I'll be darned if I can remember what happened to it but could probably look online.
I have made crepes before! The first time I ever tasted them was at a Christian Ladies Mission group called Stonecroft Ministries. The monthly meetings were held at the country club and the food was amazing. I loved the crepes with cheese filling and apricot glaze and learned to make them myself! I should make these again soon!
Guess what>??? It's just 48 days until September First!! I am so excited!
Happy Bastille Day!
