Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate your uniqueness today . You are one of a kind!
Love the pics of your grands today!! so cute! I finally got a post up! blogging is so frustrating for me. Today I was able to take photos with my camera and actually get them into a post...amazing! I never got into the DNA testing issue. I am 69 years old, and both parents are gone. It doesn't matter where I came from now. I am content with being who I am in Christ, so who I was without Him is past! I am sure it all serves a purpose in forensics, and people's peace of mind tho. Good post, as usual. xxoo
I was never particularly interested in having my DNA tested -- but went ahead and joined Ancestry.com in much the same mindset as an old parlor game. No surprises; at least nothing I was interested in pursuing and declined to renew my subscription.
My only regret is not doing better in the sciences while in school. I would love to have the opportunity to work with DNA evidence for solving crimes!
DNA certainly opened up the field for research. Our tests revealed pretty much what we expected, except I have 3% Viking dna. That makes total sense to me.
In florida enjoying your blog and family pics. Trying to smile in the sunshine and showers. Temp is great thought.
Love from down this way

I love that DNA on 23 and me connected me to my birth father's family and I learned the name of my father at the age of 72. What a blessing it's been to connect with such an amazing family! MY family on the paternal side!
