Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I think my daughter is instilling good work habits for her son.
I love how you have cared for so many of your grandchildren. Same here - babies are not babies anymore. I have my youngest son, Benjamin, who is 36 years old this summer. He's not married but who knows when he will find the perfect one for him.....so maybe more babies to come!
You were so blessed. We have 7 gr-kids, two who live about a mile away. We baby sat them from baby through elementary. We picked them up and took them where ever we wanted to share with them. Our other 5 live either 2800 miles away (2 preschool, 1 toddler) or 11 hours flight time to Switzerland, 2 boys, 6 & 10.
So wonderful.
What blessings -- first, to be near your children in the workplace and then, caring for their own babies. I imagine your caregiving gave them such peace of mind!
I don't know if you watch the Today show, but I got so tickled during the broadcast this morning, seeing the anchors and crew's little ones -- even one little guy 'helping' his dad string cables.
