Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Cookies shared with others are better than the ones you eat by yourself!
It is wonderful to have someone drive you to the appt in bad weather. Stay warm. Looking forward to SPRING ourselves.
I do not remember having a cookie exchange, the history lesson is always good.
Our sons have been making cookies and bring them out to the motor home for us to enjoy.
Love you lady,
Sherry & jack with a 61 degree morning, cool for Florida and cooler tomorrow.
I look forward to spring - I love cookie exchanges too!
Well, darn. Blogger 'ate' my comment again ... what a shame it was a cookie!
I think the very best cookies are those made by someone ELSE (lol). Today or tomorrow, I hope to finish my two nut bread recipes. Our Christmas has been postponed so there's no rush.
It "WASN'T" a cookie, I meant.
