Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Poinsettias are a sign that Christmas is close.
Again, thanks for the history of the Poinsettia. I had no idea of its origin. IT IS a beautiful flower for sure. We were so pleasantly surprised to see a Poinsettia bush here at the trailer we bought in Florida. I had no idea they grew into bushes. But we love the idea of the corner beauty.
Have a wonderful Sunday and yes, STAY WARM!
Sherry & jack thinking of you today!
I wanted to say also in a PS: Glad we can comment here on your blog, several we cannot.... ;-)
Thanks for the history of the Poinsettia, I found it very interesting.
So nice to read your posts…you are always positive and interesting…with great recipes…what more could one want?
Merry Christmas, V.
You have remined me to get some Poinsettia's to put on my mom's and brother's grave.
Aren't the poinsettias magnificent? How my mother loved those that grew like crazy in her Florida soil. While we don't have one at home, dozens now adorn our church altar, given in n honor or memory of a loved one.
