Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

It's a great day to celebrate ! The sun is shinning and I'm happy !
How I'm struggling to make my mouth pronounce that Monarch's name.
You're so fortunate not to worry about turning on the oven and heating up your kitchen. Stuffed peppers do sound good, and I agree about using rice v. breadcrumbs. I may pull out my crock pot and make a few in that tonight.
Sounds like a fun event for the Hawaiian people to celebrate today! I have not been to Hawaii either and probably will never get there in my lifetime. I hear it is beautiful though! I do like stuffed peppers; the recipe sounds yummy!
