Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Frontiersmen like Boone, have to be admired by a lot of us!
Hadn't thought about Daniel Boone in years so this was a good reminder. Beautiful hiking pictures and nice that your son will be coming, am sure you are excited about that.
The pictures show there is still some adventure left in souls, jut not as wild as old Dan'l.
I will be in the woods today cleaning up, so I will think of old Daniel all day. THANKS enjoyed the visit. ;-)
You're getting a beloved visitor??? That's wonderful, Ma!
What a picturesque spot for a stroll! Those tram tours are a great idea! I'd love to play tourist around Montgomery but sadly, Tom's health situation doesn't allow for much walking. I used to watch Fess Parker as Daniel Boone on TV, but don't remember the shows containing any of these interesting tidbits.
