ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 2ND, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Sisters Day which is about having a sister or being one. A female sibling is called a sister. You can celebrate by spending time with your sister and making her day special.
Sisters share a lot of their childhood, they fight and make up. they also annoy each other from time to time and play tricks on each other. However having is sister is not replaceable although some girlfriends can be like sisters too, as they feel connected to each other just the same.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A sister smiles when one tells one’s stories - for she know where the decoration has been added.
Chris Montaigne
It’s Sunday and with nothing planned here, I hope to go out and spend some time with my sister today. It’s good to rehash the times we had together as kids and the thing is she remembers things differently than I do so I get a new insight to those days.
The things we shared can never be forgotten. We are the only ones left in the family to share them with. There may be an odd relative or two, but what remains of our actual family is just the two of us.
In the beginning there were 5 of us mom and dad and 3 sisters. I am the oldest of the 3 but we lost one of the sisters a few years ago. I miss her as she was also my next door neighbor for about 20 years. We bought a duplex house that we shared with our families. We were close and always there for each other. Now I have one remaining sister and I don’t want her to ever forget how important she is to me. She was the youngest and I was the oldest of the 3 and we shared a lot of life together.
She had children before I did, her youngest was the same age as my oldest. So we have that connection too. My DDSis also had a son the same age. He lives far away from us, but still the connection remains the same. Once you are a sister you are always a sister.
We are the ones that remain forever young in our hearts and in our minds.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

What a blessing you are to one another! I was never fortunate enough to have siblings, but I consider my BF a sister of the heart. Hope you're enjoying a most blessed Sunday!

I miss my sister, all the way from my California to her Ohio. Found some photos of us together over years. Made me get all teary eyed.
