FOR SUNDAY,SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Opps! I forgot to say Happy Birthday to our Mr. Wonderful yesterday. I know, I’m not perfect and sometimes do forget. Sorry, is about all I can say, but today’s pictures are of him and his sisters as they went back to school this year. Next weekend we will celebrate this years birthday at a party on the 7th. This is a birthday I will get to attend and celebrate in person! Happy belated birthday Mr. Wonderful ! Grand’ma’ loves you even though I sometimes forget things. Sending lots of love and wishes for a great year ahead ! xoxo
With the recent hurricane in Florida taking precedence in the news we know how important it is to be prepared for natural disasters. I’ll be praying for all those in the path of the storm that God will calm the storm and it won’t be as bad as it’s predicted.
We shouldn’t wait until disaster hits, but take steps to be prepared and have a plan of what to do. Just being without water for several days can severely affect the way we live. And that’s an easy fix…to keep extra water on hand. It’s the same with food, it’s best to keep cans of food on hand to that do not need cooking so meals can be had when needed. Small things like those can make a big difference.
Seasonal Preparedness Check list.Holiday Safety
Keep candles away from flamable materials
Keep an eye on food when cooking
Tun off lights at night or when you leave the house
Make a communications plan with your family when you’re together for the holidays
Check your smoke alarm batteries
Consider a small emergency kit: flashlights, batteries and a spare USB power bank.
Never hurts to be prepared Better safe than sorry
I’ve been preparing all week so that today I can sit back and enjoy my just desserts party. There won’t be any cook out or picnic going on here, just desserts.
Meanwhile I’ m putting first things first this morning and will be heading off to church as usual. No Sunday is complete without it as far as I’m concerned. It’s the refreshment I need for the new week ahead.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!

with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety

they may ever praise you for your loving care.

YES, even with all my notes and lists I do still forget things, I'm sorry.
Happy belated birthday Mr. Wonderful! Neat Ma that you will be able to be in person to help celebrate his birthday at his party next weekend! My husband is a preparer so we have what we need for emergencies. Always good to have those things available because you don't know when they will be needed. Happy September!
