ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY,SEPTEMBER 8TH, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today ia National Grandparents Day which honors grandparents and aims to strengthen the bond between grandparents and grandchildren. It is also dedicated to educating children about thevaluable contributions seniors have made throughout history.
It’s an opportunity to talk to your grandparents about your family tree or look through old phota albums together. If your grandparents are no longer with us, you could volunteer with the elderly in your area.
Celebrate the ones who made you the pearson you are today!
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side .

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I sustain myself with the love of family.
Maya Angelou
I’m very thankful to be able to say I’m a grandmother many times over. Each and every grandchild is so important to me. They range in age from 25 to four years of age.. Each beautiful and unique in their own way. What a blessing they all are to me.
None of them ever got to know their grandfather, he died before any of them were born. but I’m sure he is just as proud of them as I am. He loved children and especially his own. I think he love playing with them as he was a big kid himself. Never forgotten and always remembered, he would have made a great grandfather too.
I had great grandparents that I’ll never forget. They are long gone, but remain in my heart forever. Best advice I could ever give to any parent is to love your children as much as you can. There is no such thing as too much love. My grandparents taught me things that I’d never have known otherwise. It was good to listen to their stories of days gone by. They lived during the great depression, a time that was difficult and they had a lot of advice to give.
My family tree is wide and diverse, I come from people of different nationalities, all with their own stories to tell.
The pictures today are of my grandchildren, I’m not sure if I got them all in, but I tried. The pictures are from our from our family reunion almost 5 years ago, and I’m sure I’ve shared them before. I know for sure that 3 are missing as they couldn’t make it but they were definitely missed.

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

They’ve all changed and grown so much with time, but the love of family never changes.
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
