ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Blah, Blah, Blah Day which is a day to stop procrastinating and get things done. It concerns all those uncomfortable topics in your mind you just cannot stand to deal with anymore. There are some things people never get tired of reminding you to do.
Use this day as a kick off moment to get things done. Even if no one is hounding you, you are well aware that you are putting off things until tomorrow, things that should have been done yesterday.
Just Do It!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
Mark Twain
There are a few things that I’ve been putting off here, and one of them is yard work. When the weather was nice enough to get outside, I was busy with other things. But today I’m hoping get out and blow off all the leaves, that have collected over the winter, in my car port and to mulch them up with the mower too. I did try to sweep them off a few times but they always blew right back again, so I gave up for awhile. Today will be the day to get it done. I charged up the batteries for both the blower and the mower, so they are ready to go. Now all the remains is for me to do it and for the weather to cooperate.
Thankfully the Spring fling has been done and I’m happy to report that two bags full of old clothing were flung out and I finally managed to get some winter clothing stored away and things are now in the closet for Spring. And I found those missing black pants hanging under a denim shirt too!
Today is also my day to shop and run errands. It’s to be overcast with a slight chance of showers, so we’ll see just how much gets done…
The pictures today are of my sun porch, another work in progress. It’s my favorite place to be when the weather warms up.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Lord help me to do with a smile those things I have to do anyway.
Hal Roach
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6981. for work finished and more to do
6972. for goals set, they help make things happen
6983. for a lawnmower that mulches too
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Nothing is so fatiguing as the enteral hanging on of an uncompleted task.
William James
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

If you want to get something done, just do it!
Woo-hoo for finding those missing slacks! That's a curiously exquisite feeling, isn't it? I think my Tom may have gotten the memo … he was up and outside early, playing with his new power washer. Your sun room seating looks mighty comfortable!
I dearly love your sun porch! That would be my favorite place to be, too! It’s going to be another weather event in Texas today. My neighbor called me this morning to say there’s a possibility of Irving getting baseball size hail this afternoon! I told her the gazebo was already a mess and we were going to replace the cover after the spring storms. Still, it’s nice to have good neighbors who keep an eye on our place for us!
I love it when I find a lost garment and yes...it’s usually hanging under something else! When I get home next week, I will need to change my closet out, too! I’ll probably have a bag for Goodwill!
Enjoy your busy day!
I did exactly that today! Had purchased some blood oranges at a Farmers Market two weeks ago, and they were getting soft. So I processed them to get ready to make a batch of blood orange & mixed berry jam. Last one turned out well, but made a tiny six jars of jam. Now, I will be ready, do it better.
