ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Walk Around Things Day which is a day to find something you can walk around. You can walk around things in your office, or your home, a stone outside or any thing else that you find on the ground. Literally, one would not walk though a puddle, but would walk around it.
You could walk around the neighborhood, or you could walk around potential problems. This means that this is not a day for confrontation, but a day to avoid situations and maneuver around them. Some days you just don’t want to deal with certain circumstances so you walk around them.
If ever there was a day to Walk Around Things, today is that day!
Today is also International Carrot Day, Vitamin C Day, and National Day of Hope
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I don’t have to attend every argument I’m invited to.

This is one holiday I can relate to.There are many days I feel like I’m walking around in circles, getting no place fast. I’m also one that dislikes confrontation, so I avoid that at all costs.
This day reminds us that sometimes we have to pick our battles and the best way to deal with a problem is by simply by not dealing with it all all They say it is wise to walk around, or avoid topics, issues and problems that may be sticky, may provoke an argument, or are not readily solved.
Todays pictures are of another walk taken, this time by DS# 4 and family. They sent pictures of the beautiful flowers blooming wild there I think most of my children inherited my love walking.
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
It is clear the future holds great opportunities. It also holds pitfalls. The trick will be to avoid the pitfalls, seize the opportunities, and get back home by six o’clock.
Woody Allen
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6939. for choices, we all have to make some
6940. for walking, it’s great exercise
6941. for flowers, there are so many different beautiful varieties
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
You can avoid having ulcers by adapting to the situation; If you fall in a mud puddle, check your pockets for fish.

Pick your battles, don't walk around in circles...
Yep.... "never talk about religion or politics" is the old saying. I think that's still very wise advice. Have a great Thursday, MA. Love, Andrea xoxo
Beautiful flowers from the walk! I tend to walk around the house a lot as I sometimes forget what I go into a room for then have to retrace my steps :)

YAY! In all honesty I can say I complied with Walk-Around Day this morning. It was just 4 times around Village Green park, but methinks that counts?
Great advice about remembering to pick my battles. There's so many 'no-win' teases out on social media these days.
