ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is National Good Samaritan Day which provides an opportunity for us to spread goodwill and show compassion for others in need.
The term Good Samaritan originates from the parable of the Good Samaritan, with can be found in the Gospel of Luke. The parable tells of a good natured Samaritan who helps an injured stranger in need, despite their differences . The term can now be understood to encompass all actions that are done unselfishly for those in need.
Celebrate today by volunteering at a soup kitchen, paying for a strangers coffee, or helping out a coworker. However you choose to celebrate, make sure to spread kindness and generosity today.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.
William Arthur Ward
We shouldn’t need a reminder to be a good person. Helping others and showing kindness and generosity should be a way of life for us and not on just on one day of the year. Every day is a good day to celebrate kindness.
We don’t have to have a lot of money to be generous with our time. Sometimes the simplest things can make someones day a whole lot better. A smile, a word of encouragement, or a pat on the back can go a long way when it comes to helping others.
It seems that most days I’m on the receiving end of others kindness, and I’m thankful for all the help I get. There have been many Good Samaritans in my life. Truth is we give what we get, it’s an unending circle. What you give to others will come back again and again.
I’m sharing more birthday pictures today, lots of smiles and kindness were shown over and over again.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Blessed is he who speaks a kindness, thrice blessed is he who repeats it.
Old Saying
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

6876. for kindness, always good
6877. for smiles that make my day

Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Being kind is something that never goes out of fashion.
As it happened today is my day to volunteer at the hospital:) You are right, we shouldn't need to be reminded to be kind.
Great minds, indeed! :) We should all strive to be a Good Sams every day in every way. Love these pictures … my goodness, how your son (DS#5?) does resemble you!!!
It's nice to see some things haven't changed. Thank you for the pick-me-up today. (())
What a beautiful post today, MA. So true... you don't need any money to be kind. When my son worked as a cashier and bagger at the local grocery store, some of the "regulars" would always wait in line for him to help them.... no matter how short the line might be at another checkout. It was because he was always kind and always had a smile on his face. I always told him "Smiles are cheap, son.... pass them out all day long!" :-) Have a wonderful Wednesday, MA. Love, Andrea xoxo
It’s so good to be back visiting you today! It’s never wrong to do the right thing and anyone can spread kindness. You have to think of others to be kind and I suppose a great many people are only thinking of themselves. They lose so much without ever realizing it.....
I love all the pictures. You are blessed.
Love the tee shirt. You are a blessed grandma for sure!
Such sweet pictures of your family celebrating you and your birthday, Ma! It is good for us to go out and help others as we can. I know I'm appreciative when someone helps me with something and try to extend that kindness to others.

My students heard this from me almost every day: You will never regret being kind, but you will regret being mean.
Lovely post and your gr-babies are sweet.
