ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Life is too short not to
celebrate nice moments!

This DIL’s birthday is a long distance one. I won’t be celebrating with her today, but I was able to see her this past weekend and gave her lots of hugs and birthday wishes then.
A sandwich and chips always seem to go together and I eat them often. But more than not they are a snack for me. I like to dip them in a sour cream and onion dip too. So that’s the recipe today
French Onion Dip
1 c. sour cream
1 Tbsp. dried chopped onion
1 tsp, onion powder
1 pinch garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp. dried parsley
Place sour cream in a small bowl. Add dried onion, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and parsley. Mix together. Refrigerate one hour to allow the flavors to meld and the dried onion to soften. Can be stored in the refrigerator 5 to 7 days.
This week is rolling right along and I’m getting a few things done around here. Everyday housework and a start on my Spring project. It was in the 50’s yesterday and we’re supposed reach 60 today, but it’s just a teaser, as we are to go back into the 30’s and 40’s. Rain moved in yesterday evening too, so even though it's warmer, I won’t be getting outside much. Slowly, but surely Spring is making its way to northern Ohio.
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!

Happy Birthday to your pretty DIL today! One of my Tom's favorite things is Lay's original potato chips and French Onion dip. So Americana!
Happy birthday to DDIL#6! Glad you got to see her recently to extend your birthday hugs and greetings!
I too like potato chips and dip. Try to limit them these days, but always a tasty treat.
Our temperatures here have been really weird this year. We had frost on some of our neighbors' roofs this morning. The outside temperature was 40 degrees in the morning. I don't remember it being that cool last year around this time.
