ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is March Forth and Do Something Day which encourages us to do something new that enriches our lives or the lives of others. The name March Forth is a play on words, which spoken out loud sounds like March 4th, it is an expression used to convey action and moving forward.
March forth and never give up!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
March! March! March! They are coming
In troops to the tune of the wind.
Redheaded woodpeckers drumming,
Gold crested thrushes behind;
Sparrow in brown jackets, hopping
Past every gateway and door;
Finches with crimson caps, stopping
Just where they stopped before.
March! March! March! They are slipping
Into their place at last…
Literature while lily buds, dripping
Under the showers that fall fast;
Buttercups, violets, roses;
Snowdrop and bluebell and pink,
Throng upon through of sweet posies
Bending the dewdrops to drink.
March! March! March! They will hurry
Forth at the wild bugle sound,
Blossoms and birds in a flurry,
Fluttering all over the ground.
Shake out your flags, birch and willow!
Shake out your red tassels, larch!
Grass blades , up from your earth pillow
Hear who is calling you. . . March.
Lucy Larcom, March
With the winter weather dragging on into March here at my house, I need a little encouragement me to keep going. I know Spring is on the march and will eventually arrive here in northern Ohio. So I’m trying to march on the rest of this month.
It was a snowy day yesterday, but not a whole lot accumulated on the ground so the roads were clear but wet for our ride to and from the birthday party. It was such a joy to see the grands celebrating together. The theme for the party was Legos and they all like to play with them.
For the first time ever, our Lucky Guy requested cup cakes for his birthday and they were decorated with candy Legos. Very cute and very tasty too. They all decorated Lego glasses made with Legos and played lots of Lego games.
This week is to be a very cold one so I’ll be spending a lot of time inside. Nothing new about that for sure. Marching on until Spring finally arrives in Ohio.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
There is no standing still because time is moving forward.
Greg Lake
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6848. for a great birthday party, lots of fun
6849. for a ride provided by DS#5
6850. for plenty to do, to pass away the hours
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.
Henry David Thoreau
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

The important thing is to keep moving forward!
I love Lucky Guy's expression in your last photo … talk about perfect shutter timing!
I'd no idea Lego's were so versatile -- and fun. Not just for children, anymore!
Its good to see you are keeping busy in this horrible winter weather. I am so over it. We have had more snow this year than in several years past put together. I loved the poem. Poetry is my thing!! I still have a barrel of Legos here that belong to Darian. And a barrel of Lincoln Logs which were Richards!
Nothing like a sweet birthday party for that Lucky Guy!
Our gr-sons love their Legos.
Sounds like your party was a success! The lego cupcakes was a great idea! I know legos are really popular but I don't think I've ever seen them. You can tell I don't have grandchildren! I remember my brother building things with an erector set and something that looked like small wooden logs. I'm really telling my age with that , I'm sure!
What a cute theme for the party! I didn't even know that they made candy Lego pieces. It does look like everyone was having a good time! Glad the weather cooperated for your traveling too.
