ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Love your Pet Day which is a day to show your love by giving a little extra love and affection to show just how much you care.
Most households in the U.S. have at least one pet. 39 percent have at least one dog and 33 percent own at least one cat. Pets provide wonderful companionship and actually decrease your blood pressure and stress. Walking a dog can provide both the owner and the dog with exercise, fresh air and social interaction.
So whether you have a cat, dog, hamster, rabbit, bird, reptile, or goldfish shower them with love today.
Happy Love Your Pet Day!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Animals are such agreeable friends —they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms.
George Eliot
I do love pets and have had many different kinds in the past. At one time, I had 2 dogs, 4 cats and a parrot all at the same time. But since I’ve aged, I feel I can no longer give them the proper attention, so don’t have any at all these days On the bright side, thanks to my children I still have many to love. The great thing is that no matter how long it's been since they’ve seen me, they still remember who Grand’ma’ is. When you have pets it’’s like having another family member and they do require a lot of attention and care.
Today I plan on getting out and about to do some shopping and few errands. However, the weather is looking a little iffy so it maybe tomorrow before I get out…we’ll see. I do need a few things but one day, one way or the other, won’t make much of a difference.
Living life in the slow lane means I get to choose what I want to do and when, And if I have a choice between being wet or dry, I’ll choose to do the shopping when it’s not raining or snowing. We have a chance of both.
Take good care everyone and stay safe!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Snow then rain make for some slippery conditions here today. Not good for us or our pets.
Cute pictures of you and some of the pets, Ma :) I like going to visit son and family and get to pet their dog. Its enough for me at this stage of our lives. Beautiful sunny day here, Cool as it will be tomorrow too, but then we start warming up to normal temperatures in the 70s next week. Can't wait!

Love the photo of YOU!
At one time I had 5 dogs, 2 cats, gerbils, hermit crabs and 2 parakeets! Now I feed a possum who lives under the deck outside our kitchen!
Oh how far I have fallen!
Your dog is the sweetest thing! I am on my last two (I think), tho a neighbor is pressing me to take one from her "oops" litter. I don't feel like I can start out with another at this point, I don't know if I have ten years left to properly care for a new dog. I have enough wild animals around this place for whom I'm caring, that I need to think long and hard.
I'm so glad to know you, Ma, are finally "Pam". Thank you for that!
Your grand-dog's eyes are so endearing! It sounds like your current situation is a 'win-win' for all … not unlike my best pal. She's unable to care for a dog herself but shares custody with her sister's pet when they travel ... I refer to Snowy as Debbie's timeshare dog.
Oh, I meant to comment on your (new?) hairstyle the other day … very cute!
You are so right about pets, they make our life better. Like you I prefer dry and since I live in Arizona I don't have to pick very often:)
