ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Tell a Fairy Tale Day which is all about letting your imagination roam free. Read fairy tales to your kids, or just read them for fun. There are countless stories to choose from. Little Red Riding Hood, Hans and Gretel and the Princess and the Pea are all whimsical fairy tales that have entertained children and adults alike for many years.
A fairy tale is traditionally a short story with mythical and fantastic characters such as elves fairies, gnomes and more. To celebrate tell a fairy tale story today.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
If you see the magic in a fairy tale, you can face the future.
Danielle Steel
One thing I like about fairy tales is that they always have happy endings. They often teach us something and have a moral point too. Sometimes I feel like my life has been a fairy tale, My dreams and wishes have come true and I’ve lived happily every after. I was blessed by having a loving husband and a large happy family.
I’m thankful for what I have and know that every day may not be a good one, but there is always something good to be found in every day when we take the time to look for it. That is the magic, the blessings of a life lived happily ever after.
Today is my day to make the lists, groceries and things to do. I’ve not yet found anything to inspire me as far as painting something for Spring goes. March 6th, the beginning of Lent, is the date I’ve set to find something. After that there will not be time enough left to get anything done. Meanwhile I’m still looking.
So I’m going to make it point to visit the craft store today to see if they have anything to offer. I don’t need to buy anything, I have what is needed as far as painting surfaces go, I just need an idea. Last week I visited the Home store that was close by to Sam’s Club and the pictures today are of what I found there.
I’ve been feasting on the roast and vegetables leftover from the weekend so there is no need to cook at this point. Looks like it’s going to be a great day!
Happily ever after begins one day at a time…
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Fairy tales are more than true, not just because the tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.
G.K. Chsterton
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6829. for a fairy tale kind of life
6830. for a loving husband and a wonderful family
6831. for leftovers, always good
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale.
Hans Christian Anderson
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Every day is a day to celebrate !
I like that Happiness is Homemade. That's cute and perhaps an idea for you? I think you've lived a great life, Ma, but you do know that its not always happily ever after like they end the stories. You had to choose lots of time in your circumstances to be happy and to be grateful. That they don't seem to write about too much in the fairy tales.

Happiness is Homemade … such a great thought!
I'm stunned to see that line ("if you see the magic in a fairy tale, you can face the future.") -- from one of my favorite ABBA songs attributed to Danielle Steele! Methinks this old world is in sore need of more fairy tales.
