ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Welcome February!
The month of February is National Heart Month, Fabulous Florida Strawberry Month, Library Lovers month, African American History Month, National Bird Feeding month, National Cherry month, National Time Management month, and National Weddings Month.
Today is National Wear Red Day which is our chance to help spread the word about Heart disease. Heart disease isn’t one condition, but many, and can be caused by diabetes, a lack of exercise, high cholesterol, and blood pressure. It’s never too early to start being aware of this life destroying disease. So put on your red today and spread awareness of Heart Disease.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Red is the first color of Spring. It’s the
real color of rebirth, of beginnings.
Andie Condie
I will be wearing my red today. not just in support of heart health, but it is my favorite color and I wear it often.
I’m hoping this new month will bring us some gentler days. January was a harsh month for us with biting winds and bitterly low temps and I am not sad to see it go. But it was also good in many ways, so I have to be thankful for it.
We are now one month closer to Spring. While I’ve been warm and cozy on the inside here, these bitterly cold days have taken their toll. I’m looking forward to coming out of hibernation mode and getting outdoors again.
One of the first signs of Spring in northern Ohio is the Robin. They show up with their red breasts to cheer and delight us. One of my cousins in West Virginia said they are seeing them there so hopefully soon they will be winging their way north
This weekend is to bring us some warmer weather and a chance thaw out for a while. We’ll see...
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Among the things you can give and still keep are your word, a smile, and a grateful heart.
Zig Ziglar
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6754. for Red, my favorite color
6755. for a new month, goodbye January
6756. for a few days to thaw out
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
When in doubt, wear red.
Bill Blass
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

Red is my favorite color!
Lots of great red pictures here, Ma! Yum on the kisses! February seems like it is such a short month, of course it is with the 3 less days, but lots of good activities for the month ahead. Always good to take care of our hearts too, both the physical one and our emotional, spiritual one. May it be a good month for you, Ma!

Red's my favorite color, too, so I'll be wearing it when I head out this afternoon. :)
Have a wonderful weekend!
